City-specific permitting quirks. Most are baked into the standard process — flag the ones below to set customer expectations early.

• City permit cost coverage: Spring Solar covers up to $500. Anything over is a pass-through to the customer.
• Common overage cities: Ogden, Weber County, Provo, Taylorsville — expect to charge above the cap.
• Sandy City: Load calculations required on every job ($150) unless a new MPU is being installed.
• Riverton & Saratoga Springs: Cities don't allow paneling over roof vent pipes. Vent redirect = $150 / vent pipe.
• Eagle Mountain: Critter Guard required by city ($35 / panel).

The 5-star bar is non-negotiable. Don't promise things outside scope — if you do and equipment ships, Spring Solar will charge stocking + trip fees. Example: promising GoalZero ties directly to the solar system when it doesn't.
